The handbrake only functions on the rear brakes, its a separate system from the normal footbrake totally independent.
Seriously if you don't get the diagrams and you don't have any previous experience think carefully about working on the brakes yourself!

IV chamgeed my pads and rotors in the past, however I think one of my caliper bolts maybe cross threaded as the last time I changed my pads I could only take one bolt off and fit the pads that way! I will have a look this evening and see what I can do whilst I'm looking. But not everyone gets or understands those split diagrams.........
