Hi all
I'm after a quiet exhaust for my V6 Bongo 2001.
I must have had an original exhaust when I bought my V6.
I had to get a new back box and centre section. However it does roar ..
Previously with the old system, it used to be so quiet it actually felt like you were in an electric train when cruising LOL..
I'm not as young as I used to be and also somewhat stressed these days.
I had Bongos for 19 years. My previous one being the 2.5TD... I fitted a Stainless Steel MIJ exhaust on that one...
*My question is , where can I get a nice quiet exhaust please*
The rear box and centre box is newly fitted a week or so ago so will flog that for 50 quid if anyone wants it.
Thanks in advance guys
E.A.

What's wrong with the shop ? https://bongoland.co.uk/?s=exhaust&post_type=product have the relevant sections for the Petrol's.

Re: Quiet exhaust for V6
I'm actually after recommendations for an exhaust that is known to be on the quieter side of the noise spectrum LOL
I have just bought a new exhaust and had it fitted ... hence my post above
Thankyou

Re: Quiet exhaust for V6
But the ones too the original spec. are quiet ? At least I think they seem to be compared to the ones that have been changed to other types!
Re: Quiet exhaust for V6
Surprised any exhausts built to standard specification would be any nosier than a standard one. Only if a silencer has been removed or replaced with straight through type would I expect it to be significantly noisier.
I would check if its touching the bodywork anywhere or maybe blowing somewhere else like a manifold or down pipe.
Check all the rubber hangers are ok as well
