Post by corblimey » Wed Apr 25, 2007 2:06 pm

Anyone know the dimensions of the rocker switch apertures on the dashboard behind the steering wheel.

Be careful, there are two different types of switch with corresponding different types of hole.

I cannot remember which is which, but the lower right bank are not the same as upper right.

Cheers for pointing that out Pippin.

It's the upper bank I'm interested in.

I'd check myself but the Bongo is in the shop having shades fitted.

Sorry Corblimey
20 minutes ago, I removed one of the top switch blanks to measure it - I can't find a tape measure anywhere     (I used it yesterday!!!!)
I'll get another tomorrow and, if nobody has replied, I'll measure it and post.

I think the dimensions of the holes might just be the same.

The difference lies in the way the switches actually fit as some are longer and the mounting method is not the same.

There again, I could be talking through my hat!

Hi vanvliet

Yes, I'm planning on doing my internal wiring this weekend and I need the dimensions so I can order the right ones.

Corblimey -
I thought I could have let you have a couple of spare switches but when i checked in my garage they were the lower bank (below the wheel) style
