No, too much vino by then.  I even got up at 3am Monday to have another go and got a black cat in a coal bunker on a dark night.  I reckon the satellite we were all watching was the International Space Station.  Most satellites are communication satellites and are in a geo-stationary orbit, so appear stationary to us the same as the stars.  Only spy satellites move around but they are really small.  For me to see the thing moving with unaided vision it must have been the size of Brazil in orbit
