   i guess that wouldnt difficult to do if the hovercraft was going on the water just skim across the bay and turn right unfortunately Wayne wasnt the one looking at the map when they designed the roads.

The steam fair was brilliant last year lots to do steam engines (suprise suprise) beer tent, archery, birds of prey, beer tent, plus some old fashioned fairground stuff and the wall of death for thrills and hopefully not spills.some clever sheep, beer tent, nice stalls and a couple of games like help the pensioner off the carousel horse and hunt for Tomo.did i mention there are beer tents.

of course the sun will shine in allithwaite but i was reminded of silvergale earlier -came out of work tonight and spotted a bongo parked with roof up and naturally levitated towards it, there was a lovely familly fleeing the wrath of cumbrias weather and parking up at her mums house - flash floods of serious depth and the wind had picked up their tent and thrown it fully loaded onto a fence -tent ruined, but familly, dog and bongo thankfully intact.

The Steam fair is fun Debs, really nice atmosphere just as Karen describes. I hope my kaftan man is there again this year he wasn't last year.

We are thinking about going over to Arnside for the best fish and chips one day. Would take just 10-15 mins as opposed to driving around the peninsula.

Neil you are bad! LOL

Good call Pete, look forward to seeing you again! <whispers> we might have to restrain the OAP in his seat belt though

Loads of traffic arriving for it today which is quite exciting (the child within). If many shows have been rained off I guess everyone is going all out.

I am going to have few liberating libations and have a stab at them there olives. Brian you have your hot wish, scotch bonnet will be an ingredient :)

Only if you behave like a scolded child this time Alan and do not play the OAP card. You must wear your harness Alan!
