Already packed abd Bongo plugged into the garage mains to cool down the fridge. :D :D :D

PS: Anyone having problems with the rubber sealant strip under the bonnet in front of the drainage hole comming loose. Mine was causing water to seep through into the engine bay at times even with a clear drainage hole. I bought a tube of Sikaflex-221 multi-purpose sealant which has made a great job of sticking the rubber sealant back in place. Plenty of sealant left but previous experience it won't keep for all that long. So if anyone needs their rubber sealant strip stuck back in place I will bring the sealant and a sealant gun with me to Glencoe.

Suspension improved, can't believe people want to fit lowered suspensions you have no Idea how bad the ride was, also could only leave town by 2 of the 4 main roads due to speed bumps, can sail over anything now, see you at the weekend

Jim,
P.S. only downside is I can't sneek under the 2m barriers any more

What a brilliant day we had at the meet :D

So many friendly people giving us great advice about our impending ownership, and I got some cooking lessons

Thanks to everyone for making us so welcome.

Here are some pictures of the day.

It was great to see everybody again - what a fab weekend.

My head hurts, there's mucky clothes, wet tents and boxes of dirty dishes all over the house but it was all worth it!!

Off now to chip the dirt off the kids before I put them in the bath.

talking to us anyway

This weekend was a great one, but Mulshy put it best... now it's back to reality. :( As for a regular meet up there, anytime!! A Winter Camp might be fun...

I nursed the van back down the road, running 75% veg. About half way home, the front heaters went cold and I bent the temp gauge needle. It bled up well after and we were soon back on the road after an hour enjoying the view from the shore of Loch Earn.  #-o

Big Thanks to mountainmummy and family for taking Thomas off my hands and making sure he got his "screen time" in the mornings. ;) =D> =D>

Well I made it back home eventually with a slight delay due to a coach crashing into the back of a Sainsbury's lorry just west of collander. Surprisingly I managed to stay on my feet this time due to taking a leisurely walk through the forest with Mulshy and his wife looking for mushrooms rather than trying to kill myself on the mountains.

Great company from old and new bongoliers, even the weather was kind to us for the third time running. Like Matt I am up for regular meets at Red Squirell, maybe even for a third time this year or earlier next in my Bongo or its replacement which will only be 2WD arrrrrg!

That looks like a great weekend. Pity we couldn't manage but hopefully will get to the Red Squirrel next week. Not had much chance to use the Bongo this 'summer' due to work commitments but intending to use it all winter instead!! Hopefully we'll be able to find some sites that are open with electric plugins for the colder months .. any ideas?

I am certainly up for a winter bash somewhere so will keep an eye on here.

No worries he was very good :)

Great photos Donald!!

Mulshy - Mark from Milngavnie must remember us, he's a teacher, or possibly a "very successful businessman owns a very expensive house that may or may not have solar panels. Or is that what he was selling :? :?: :?
