Cheers to Kirsty for the mesh, nice surprise to see Bob & Lin! :D

Just beginning to thaw out even though I got home over an hour ago  .
Lovely to meet some old friends and make some more. Thanks for the cake and the warm welcome.
P.S Can I become a adopted member of the West Country / Dorset groups - you seem to do meets a bit better than my area.
Nice spot as well, plenty of parking and facilities and only an hours drive back home. Glad I popped down.

I had the heating on full blast til I felt like I had heat stroke, but when I turned it down I realised my core temperature was close to that to able to induce hypothermia. I understand when you are really cold, you have to warm yourself up very gently..... so I am starting with a glass of red wine at room temperature. If that doesnt work I may have to have another few  .
Nice photo Jamie - I think I must have been in the shade when those rays of sunlight fell on the lucky few  .

Sitting here in my warm room at home, it looks a great meet from the pics. Lovely looking venue. You should do that one again on a nice spring / summer day when you can picnic on the grass

Us Bongo folk are nuts really. I mean what kind of weather could any rational person expect on 29 November except a heatwave. But then we are not rational, and long may it continue.

GUTTED!! Sue and I were both really looking forward to this meet - cleaned the Bongo - got bread n' ham in for sarnies - then last night we both went down with this sickness and diarrhoea bug.

Needless to say, we both felt like wrung out dishcloths all day - no food, just drink.

Looks like you all had a great time - and what a brill turnout - thanks for the pics.

I agree the location was great and yes in the summer it would be great to meet there again and picnic watching the yachts and wildlife on the lake.

but it would be busy as its a popular spot
