Turbo checks out as okay.
Its the exhaust manifold gasket on mine.
So why you burning oil!

Possibly rings?
Leaving it with Dave Benson Thurs & Friday for noises to be sorted, rear ARB bushes & general health check before setting off for Harrys do.

ok here`s another squeak/squeal one for ya and i don`t mean mice
cold engine no worries nothing
go for a drive nothing
stop for a while so everythings warmed up nice
start off nothing
hit 2500-3000 revs have squeal for a few seconds then stops may do this a couple of times
but is intermitent
has just started over the last couple of weeks but does`nt seem to be getting worse and everytime i try to get it to do it stationary to suss out exactly where it is it won`t play the game

I would say one of your belts is starting to slip, or worst you have a pin prick hole in a hose and its squirting near the alternator belt, have a good check but I would go with my first sugestion, mine did that little sqeel on startup then disapeer straigh away then come back when i put my foot down but once engine was warm it stopped, but got worse over a few weeks, tightend em up which stopped it for a couple more weeks but started again so repleced them all and its been fine ever since.

Try a wee squirt of wd40 on the belts to see if it makes it disappear, it's not a solution, just a way of checking whether it's the belts or not. Be careful you don't overtighten the belts, if that's what it looks like.
