Hi Ian & Kate

Weve only had our Bongo about a month as well so can't comment or the first questions but fitted a Haydn low coolant alarm last weekend with no problems at all. The kit from the club shop comes complete with DIY instructions and even the right size drill bit so as Kirsty say's 'if you can drill a hole!'
Re tyre and wheel sizes ive still got different sizes front to rear on my 4wd but bought the van with good snow tyres fitted so I am thinking of keeping them as 'winter wheels' and getting another set of wheels (possibly alloys) fitted with 'bog standard' tyres for summer use. There is a lot of debate on the forum about wheel/tyre sizes, especialy related to the 4wd's, is it best to have the same size front and rear? the handbook quotes differently! Any informed help would be appreciated.

Tim

Hi, Lots of folks on here run with the same width tyres at all 4 corners eg all 205s or all 215s etc.
The standard setup is wide (215/65s) at the back and skinny ones (195/70s) at the front. Different wall to width ratios between the 2 tyres makes the overall circumference of the tyres the same which keeps the 4wd happy. If you want to be like the manual then fit these.

It is important that any tyres have a load rating of greater than 92 front and 96 rear. :!:

There is no definitive answer to what is best - only opinion - so have a search through numerous post on the subject and draw your own conclusions.
