Heading East on M8, take the turning for Lanark & Carluke and follow the signs for Peebles (past Carstairs and keep going East) Alternatively M8 to Edinburgh, round bypass to Fairmilehead and then follow sign posts for Peebles (go via Auchendinny rather than through Penicuik) Time wise both are about the same, but distance wise 'cross country via carluke is about 10 to 15 miles less. Make sure you change any 'leisure ware' on the border for tweed caps and plus fours..... one must look the part

David, stop leading Stevie up the garden path and do your own poaching. [-X

Popped in to see David with June yesterday. Slight problem with the size of the muffins, David has either joined the year of the weight loss or he was having me on again.

I can also recommend Jim Jacks chippy at 16 Northgate, just off the Main St.

Just down the road from me but unfortunately can't make this as the bongo is going to get some work done on it this weekend.
