Quite simple really.. I worked out my horn is in the key of E♭??

I have often wondered if it is possible to amplitude modulate a car horn with speech.

It would be great to have a horn facing backwards that says "Up yours" and one facing forward that says "Get on with it".

ok francophile sorted me out on the fuse, but now i find that each horn has an individual power supply, so is this two separate circuits, or two relays , or what ????

on this one even a lush circuite diagramm would be good

can anyone help, i,ve got to get this sorted.

I'll tell you what i found out about the horn wiring when i removed the front bumper to do the mesh...
The horn loom comes out on the drivers side wheel arch. (I'd say just below the head light & the metal trim that runs full width below the lights & grill?)

Now, on mine i have two horns.. One in the location of the horn loom under the light, the other horn about the same height but just in front of the side of the air con radiator..

The live wiring was split in a Y coming off the end of the existing loom to service the two horns.. The earth from both was situated in a bolt to the chassis under the headlamp.
I did inspect & tidy up the cabling.. Including removing the earth wires, shortening them & reinstating a better ground connection.. Which will save from grief on a future MOT inspection. (Less likely to fail?)

Incredibly simple all you need is a 2 recordable modules from a greetings cards, an amp and a PA Horn (2, if you want one front, one rear) wired to a switch on the dash
