Yes, it's there all right...behind the rear wheel, there's a gap between the outer panel and a box section ....if you run your hand up the boxy bit, you'll feel the hole....I took the rear trim panel out a year or so back and had a poke round when I was doing a waxoyl topup....surprised not to find it clogged with fag packet cellophane, pocket fluff, and mouse nests

I haven't poked yet, chances are it'll be full of waxoil Looks like it could be the ideal hole to run my hook up cable through Learn sumat new every day

(but nevertheless useful to someone else who may have wanted to ask the same question but been afraid of looking silly )
The only silly question is the one you don't ask (this does not apply to under 5's and folk who require to have their name and address sewn into their clothes)

There's kind of a white plastic edging to mine... like a letter box without the flap & kind of angled up a bit??

Yes...I had it earmarked for cabling, but I'm not bothering with the gadget I was going to add (kenlowe heater).....just won't drive in the really cold weather
Now that you've found it, it's something else to keep clear of rubbish, like the rain channel over the front heater ....it really is a superb place for mice to get in!!!!!

Yer rear AC gubbins is behind/below the panel opposite the sliding door.. It just recirculates what is in the back... Sucks air from the rear cabin in, & blows back out.. Hot or cold.
