You could buy a good new tyre for the cost of a drive to Guyhirn and back.
Why not try Compass Cars at St Ives (opposite Hi-Sell) see if Ed there can find you some 245/40-18's with the right load rating, he can often find a deal somewhere.
Another place to try is Fast Fit at the back of Cole & Day in Somersham.
