P.S. If anyone is planning to take their Bongo to a garage in Motherwell feel free to PM me to see if it is the same one.
As a couple of people have PM'd me regarding the mechanic, I think it's only fair to post the other side of his work...

To give credit where it's due he was excellent to deal with today. He accepted responsibility and was very apologetic for the incorrect bleeding.

He was also willing to learn how to do the job properly and it all seems ok now (I told him about the video on youtube and it sounds like he had all the mechanics watching it!). There were a couple of jobs he didn't know how to do on the Bongo and rather than botch them he left them for a later date when I could supply him with info.

To compensate me for the trouble, he charged a very reasonable price - he can't have made a profit on this job.

I don't know if I'd recommend this garage to Bongo owners, but certainly feel he has done all he could to rectify his errors. I'll certainly take the Bongo there when I need the bodywork done.

So pleased things are on the up for you. I'm of the opinion we all make mistakes it's how we deal with them to rectify them that establishes good custom from me.
