Panic over folks problem solved (thanks to Ian Taylor, jap car imports) had a new chain fitted to slider mechanism.

P.S. for the benefit of all you southern softies I'll leave my whippet at home but I cant guarantee me ferrett wont go down your trousers lol!
P.P.S. I passed by Naburn L :D ock the other day it looks very nice and tranquile. :D

By the way the camp site is nor where my sat nav tried to take me when I passed the place. Sat nav tried to take me down moor lane but the site is on the main B1222 through road. Google maps gets it wrong too.

Dont know if i can make it Changed my alternator and aircon belts took ages.
tried to start no ignition no idea what ive done.
Checked fuses main one 100 w looked odd so i pulled it to have a look
and smashed it to bits.

Looks like we're not going to get there until Saturday afternoon. :(

What's worse is that it's touch & go whether we'll get to Miller's chippy in Fulford before they close at dinnertime :? :wink:
