				Got to admit... I used Flossies idea...  

  Till the battery went down on the key chain/fob....

				This is the sort of thing i'm looking for,but too big~i measured one yesterday on a T reg & it was apprx; 15mm~but don't know the total length of it, but must be quite dumpy to fit.

				If you take the top off the cowl..? not a lot of space there!
You may well get away with that, hard to tell. (reference to link) If you solder wires to the connections on the unit, & make connections for prospective bottom cowl removal, somewhere down the loom!??
Its a bit fiddly, i just pull the bulb out of mine if i have remove the bottom cowl....

				Yes Jaylee~can see what you mean~the diameter of the one in the link is 22mm,will see if i can buy one at around 15mm.

I've got a light phobe thingy on my matiz keys as i struggle to see where to put the key too.

 ~i found this one on ebay~it was a bit too long & had to bend contacts downwards but managed to get the spade connectors on~a bit fiddly but end result's not bad~thanks for your earlier help anyway.

				Hiya Jay,
How are you matey?
She is in for TLC on the bodywork area, also having spats painted and fitted etc etc etc, quite a lot to be done as i want it back to a really good standard, it has been a long wait as the garage are fitting her in around other jobs to keep the costs down for me so i am having to be patient  
 
Would be a great xmas pressie if she is back by then

Just thought after i posted the question you were probably having the paint job...  

 If yer getting it done for a decent price? Then it will be worth the wait!
