One way we managed to stop our 1st Bongo when it wouldn't stop was to get a piece of carboard and then sit on the floor and put the cardboard on the exhaust and hold it there with your foot until it stops. Not easy tho :S

Not sure where the fuel pipe comes out of the tank but is it possible you could get underneath and get a clamp on the rubber connecting tube?

I have done something similar to this (not on the bongo- a few older cars I used to frequently get locked out of) by using a wire coat hanger. Unwind it and created a hook at the end. Then managed to get it in past the seal and hooking the door lock to unlock the door. But pressing the window button is a good idea.

ok, my son is going through all the keys in the house, then i'm breaking a quarter light, i hope i can replace it easily enough!

He found one! it only opened the rear hatch but we are in....!

Got breakdown cover ?? AA got one of the band vans open when needed couple weeks ago.

Incidentally my Bongo doors are set to auto lock when the engine starts running - not a fault but a setting.
