Adrian At Japan Direct in Bury has advised me they can be got (albeit they may have to come from Japan). Not cheap though (something stupid like £150 a pop - ouch!). There's a cottage industry opportunity for someone interested in reconditioning old ones methinks.

Adrian has done plenty of roofs though so he's be a good person to try if you are local, or else he's very good about advising other garages where needed.

Bloody typical! If its any consolation, I've thought about getting two new motors as spares just in case!
