There will be no problem parking Cat. There is parking in front of the pub and a lot of it. Not even marked spaces just a gravel surface. The route is all main roads from the motorway. Its a tanker route to Fawley and the rest of it has full sized buses.
M3 from London, M27 west, M271 south, A35, A326 and follow Beaulieu motor museum signs. The pub is just off the main road as you come into Beaulieu. You can see it from the road, but it is actually on the Exbury road. Again wide and flat open forest.

Jillygumbo wrote:OK I've booked two nights at Setthorns (expensive!) - Fri and Sat then moving on to the meet on the Sunday, presumably at the Royal Oak.
Mary and Cat - I've mentioned I would like to be near you two, when you book.
Anyone else wants to join us? Be brave?
I've booked now

Booked to arrive Thursday as I want to be settled on the Friday to work in the van

Leaving on the Sunday to go to the meet and then home. I also asked to be near you and Mary. I've booked a premium pitch with services.
Didn't find the price too bad for 3 nights
Is anyone else camping?

Hope you can join us at Setthorns, Gray. It seems like ages since we've seen you. Anyway, I'll look forward to seeing you both on the Sunday if you can't camp

We'll be joining you all in the afternoon on our way back from the isle of Wight, so look forward to saying hello. anyone know if the pub has any childrens play items or space to kick a ball about for a 5 year old?

The Royal Oak is very child friendly. There is a secure garden at the back with an aviary containing Freya the owl. In front of the pub there is an area of open ground perfect for a kick around. Although you can see the pub from the main road it is actually up a side road so less traffic.
There are ponies and donkeys wandering around outside, always fascinating for small children, but many of them will beg or snatch sandwiches so be careful.
