To celebrate 10 years since the formation of the Bongo Fury owners club, Sunday 24th February 2013 has been designated as National Bongo Day. What we have in mind is a series of events in various locations across the UK & Ireland where Bongonauts can get to meet each other and perhaps have a Sunday lunch.
Hi Richard,
We'll just go with the flow, cafe was reasonable for tea and sarnies. Hopefully the weather will be kind and we may be able to sit outside . I'm also nosey so will want to see in everybodies bongo for new ideas etc.
Hold your noses
just waxoyled the inside arches ( see thread bellow)
1 How long is it going to stench? (2 days with all windows open) was hoping to have the day out on Sunday at Rutland.. (serious stench)
2 Went to remove spare wheel
the tool i originally thought was to lower the the wheel is purely for the bottle jack (brown) and wont fit the hole. what does one look like/where can i get one from. Will modify a sissor jack handle given half an idea, what end shape / min length.
Hope to be there if we can survive the ride and get wheel removed
Hi,
I think it will stink till it drys a little hopefully ok by the weekend.
The winch handle is also the scissor jack handle there wasn't a bottle jack unless yours is a really posh one.

when I bought it I just looked for a toolkit, the long bar is stored in the clips.
My improvised tool, wheel now removed.
Stink still there. Have been opening doors for a few hours a day.
Intend being at rutland even if I have to drive with windows open, with side panels still off.
