Thanks guys. I'll PM Stuc, and see what the craic is.
I did not get an estimate. The guy I put the Bongo to, is an independent, who is kept very busy, and has a great reputation, I've used him for jobs I can not do on cars for the last 17 or so years, so if he says it's not worth it I believe him.
Cheers.

Quite a looker but not much older than my old one with a much greater milage. The only problem that I can see donald is that you would be looking for another 4x4 for your Highlands location.

It's just a bit out of my price range.
I'm looking for a Tin Top, 4WD would be ideal, Manual if poss, but I'm sure I would get use to an auto. Towbar would be great, not worried about alloys as I have two sets already, (winter and summer) infact it would be better if had steel wheels so I could swap them over. Not worried about mileage.
Something like this.....

Looking at buying at the end of April onwards.

Hello Donald
Jim (the box) mentioned to me you were looking for a new Bongo. Im selling my beloved 'Libby', a 2001 Silver over Grey AFT TD with removable rear kitchen. She's done about 79,000 miles and is in great condition. No rust and undersealed. Lots of extras.
I am the first owner since import by Campercraft in 2011 and Im DEVASTATED that she has to go. Genuine personal circumstances force her sale.
If you're interested please get in touch.
Kind regards
Katie (Moray, Scotland)

Sorry, katie I've not been on here recently. I've been very busy stuck on my own at work, and this is during a retirement sale!! So as you can guess, my circumstances will be changing soon.
I do have a interview this Saturday, but it's just for a part time job. Might then go self employed, for the rest of the week.
Still Pm me a price if you please, and if still available.
Cheers,
Donald.

Cheers Tony,
My first job interview for 18 years went ok.....I think, but I have never experienced anything like that before.
