Young climbers don't care much for frills. It would only make sense for Red Squirrel to put in Electrics if they had a big enough customer base for them. As it is they would also have to make big changes to the entrance and roads layouts before the site would be suitable for an influx of caravans and motorhomes. The nearby caravan & Camping site off the main road already provides this service.

Would have been good to get there, but am back to work on the 20th Aug and we have just done a three week tour in the bongo this summer.
Maybe next time.

I'm going to break my old manual, 4WD, 8 seat, tintop, as I have already robbed parts to get my new one through it's MOT, (removing rear shock was fun!!) so if anyone needs a spare part give us a shout and I would do my best to take them down with me. Should be down just before 7pm all things going well.

Will be popping into a supermarket on the way down if anyone needs anything. I can PM my mobile number if anyone wants.

Questions re cooking.

Is it being done using charcoal on an open fire?
