passed MOT recently no issues but If as you say I remove the knob and fit one it would have to work. I am only really trying to confirm that all bongos' had one as standard and if so I will have a go reinstating it. If all fails I can just screw the knob back on.

NEW UPDATE

Twisted the stalk to washer mode and the washer works at the rear?? Now then is there another fuse I need to look at that runs the wiper operation because if its all 13 then I am in trouble as it is not working

usual reason with washer is broken wire were wire passes from body to the door

Fuse 13 does indeed do rear wiper & washer, according to the fact sheet. hope you get it sorted.

If you can't get the wiper arm to pivot properly due to repainting, you're probably best off getting a second hand one from a breaker. As mentioned on another thread today, the washer pumps do tend to fail after a while. You can sometimes repair them, but it's probably better to get a replacement on ebay for under £10, but you will have to tweak the configuration of the contacts as they are different to the standard pump.

I was posting the other picture with the cap removed then photbucket went into a dive and logged me out?

So is reinstatement possible ot just a waste of time and energy? I would not even be discussing this if it were not for my rear R sole camera getting obstructed in heavy weather

Remember this guys?

Well the washers was working but could not understand why the wiper motor was not functioning because as confirmed on here it all works off the same ciruit/fuse?? Well took the rear panel off last week and blasted everything with WD and guess what, it has started working this morning. I only tried it today and presto! Now I have a nice stainless steel wiper blade to fit but I need the wiper arm and nut? Anyone know where I can purchase these or maybe a scrapper?

I would be so chuffed at having a rear wiper. My last Bongo had one obviously and I have missed it so much with all the wet and spray on the roads this winter time.
