Don't think it'll be particular warm in May this year, so I'm bringing my wood stove :)

His house was used by SOE during WW2. They could fly in and out using the air strip which is close to our campsite. They used the bay to practice landings using small craft off and on the beach..

We have been allocated some extra places by the site, so the waiting list has now been cleared. If anyone else wants to come, then contact me and once the waiting list is up to 4, I will book some more slots.

By the way the pub will not be re-opening this year due to structural problems.

Add a post with what you will be bringing and I'll update the list I've added to Baz's original post.

I'll bring savoury crackers and dips.

Thanks to Ian & Marianne for organising this again, it's a lovely site in a central spot as a base for some sightseeing - Harlech, Criccieth (and Cadwalader's world-famous ice-cream), Portmadog, Portmeirion, Tre'r Ceiri iron-age hillfort, Castell y Bere and Blaenau Ffestiniog (for the Ffestiniog Railway and Llechwedd Slate Caverns) all within range. A lot of the local spots are covered in THIS tour report if you need some inspiration

Erm...

But the Jacob's Join seemed to be a big success, partly helped by a welcome break in the weather...
