				Hello g8dhe
Yes I have electric mirrors to adjust them up ,down left , right but they don't fold in and my switch does not have the folding in switch , I assume that it's original and that the mirrors don't have the folding in motors ?
The way I'm thinking I'd need the controller with the folding in switch and mirrors with the folding in motors as well , what I'm asking is wheater the existing mirror wiring loom , which is used at the minute for the standard electric will work with the ungraded switch and mirrors .
I'd would be interested in this upgrade if I only had to change over the mirrors and switch , afraid I'm a bit nervous about re wiring the mirrors !

Even a monkey like me can bolt on a mirror and plug in a switch

Thanks in advance
Brian

Oh OK, I'd never seen or heard of one before without the folding option, but just looking at the wiring diagrams and they are indeed in a dotted box which normally indicates an option!
I would guess that the wiring loom will all be present as well.

I have seen one with just electric adjustment on my travels, the switch is a different design without the fold switch.

Mine must be a poverty spec ( for the Japanese

 )
It's away at the minute but I'll try and get a photo of the switch and post it up . Uber rare JDM .....if only it was an mx5

I could ask my price
Thanks for the clarification g8dhe , it's a project I will consider when the bus is back from paint SO ........ anyone selling mirrors and switch with the folding option ?

				Hello all
Just to update this conversation I e just found a bus that is being broken with the folding mirrors so I've asked to buy them and the switch, so to be clear g8dhe are you suggesting that the wiring in mine is already in place so to covert all that's needed is to plug in the new mirrors and switch to go from what I have , non fold in to what I'm looking for , folding in mirrors. If that's the case it would be a nice simple project that even I could do

Thanks in advance
Brian

I can't be certain never having seen that combination before, but I wouldn't have thought they would have made a different wiring loom for that variation, however the connector to the switch might well be different.

				Good evening all
Just to confirm to everyone , just as geoff said the wiring loom is the same for both auto close mirrors and , like mine , non auto close . I've just fitted closing mirrors to my bus today, I needed a new switch and the mirrors, all got form a breaker

Thanks for your help Geoff

Brilliant. Don't recall anyone pulling that one off before

Welcome to the world of 'another thing to break'

Thanks Mike but being a Mazda I thought that they weren't suppose to break
