Bongo Fury

is that it,......it just stops the pedal going down too far.....

i feel let down, i thought i had something swanky on my bongo,

what a disapointment, oh well at least i know now,

and i had a look to see if i had a flare and i have not got one!! waved my little bongo off today for her journey to cornwall,, driving a bright yellow seat for 3 days!!!!!!!!! not quite the same as my wagon......can not get used to the things called gears and such a silly little windscreen and tiny wipers.......i like my bongo.........hope she gets there and back ok, but seeing that i spent over £100 getting an engineer to look at her!!! i take it she should be ok..........

i would not be without her now....shes a camper, a skip, a removal van,
an every day car, a mobile coffee machine, a day out with a picnic, a boot sale van, shes my mobile toilet, my stress relief, shes every thing to me!! ahhhh blesss....can you tell im missing her...

caznsue - could have been me talking. Juicy on diesel yes on short runs especially, but the best and most versatile vehicle I've ever owned - absolutely no doubt about it. I propose to improve the fuel consumption by cycling to work a bit more - another benefit of ownership really (persuading me to take a bit more exercise).

I'm hoping in time my wife will share my view on the adorable Mango Bongo (fingers crossed).

my journey to work is 9 mins and i have not noticed any difference in the fuel between this and my old car, whenever i go anywhere and the question pops up...which car shall we take....im in the drivers seat before anyone can answer.....chuckle chuckle, perhaps this excitment wears off but ive had her 8 months...

just had a phone call from the garage, he now says he under charged me.....he said he only quoted £25 for checking levels!! oil, water, brake fluid..is that it? £25 quid!!!!! but in the end he did a pre mot check and that was why it came to £60....did i ask for a full pre mot check...no....he says the wobble on my steering is due to my tyres being too wide, will get the sizes and post it on here for your feed back....the blind he says he freed the mechanism up...did i ask for this....no, but its still snapped...will do a blue peter when i get her back..thanks for all the suggestions on how i do this.

i still feel robbed, will not go back there again, i would of thought if you were just looking at something to advise of fault then this should not be chargeable,....ie wobble...oh well we live and learn,
