Thats the reason I got into kiteing, for a bit of peace and quiet from Mrs Foz.

I hope we will be able to make the next one - and if so Jill and Emily will be with me ---- and I really want to make the next meet, it is ages since we met up with the RK lot at Ainsdale

perhaps you like peace and quiet from mrs foz but some people maybe like doing things together as a family.

Mike gotta say the RK meet at Ainsdale seems like an eternity ago! Look forward to catching up with you again, but only if we can kitesurf, land kiting hurts the old knees too much now!

i must say that both the wife and daughter have been known to fly my kites, i usually tow the daughter around and ive even managed to get jo sat in the back buggy all be it at a slow 20mph. my 11 yr old daughter has been seen hanging onto the 6m rage but they generally fly the 2.5 blurr now.

Wicked stuff look forward to meeting the girls of the dreamwarrior family at the next meet and have a nice girls fly in

I think it was an eternity ago - well at least 18 months. Was that the weekend I met you guys on the beach?
I had just come from Wheelquick having paid the deposit for my Bongo and that was in early June 2007!!

mike cant believe you havnt been flying. i even managed to get out over crimbo, getting withdrawals.
think i had 5 outings last year to bls 3 with racekites and 2 personal journeys.
not flown at ainsdale as i find it hard to get the permit for a weekend.

Mike if I remember rightly it was April 2007 because we hadn't had our bongo long! And it was so cold at the campsite we sent Ali and Mark to get wood for the fire basket

Getting the permit for Ainsdale is really easy you can do it all by phone and e-mail. Gill who works at the centre is very helpful indeed. That's how I've done mine as I live 5 hours from Ainsdale no way I'm making that trip to pick up a permit or not to get a permit and have a wasted journey

You couldn't possibly let us know who to e-mail could you. I live no where near Ainsdale but i was tempted to give it a try over crimbo when visiting family up that way. Was put off by the permit thing myself.

TDB the website says call to make an appointment to go in, I just called and explained I couldn't just pop in. The lady I dealt with there was Gill and she was very helpful indeed. I'm due for renewal, if she e-mails me I'll PM you th details.
