yes the nrm is fine, i must admit havnt been for 20 years but how can the trains change. emma been on the eye and loved it.
theres loads to do in york, more than can be fitted into a weekend

Hi peeps, John and I arrived at Goosewood yesterday and what a treat you have in store. The site is lovely and clean, the showers are to die for and dinner is supplied in the form of live ducks and geese (only joking.....having said that I did feel a bit guilty bbqing duck breasts yesterday with its mates waddling around about us!!!).

The only problem is that there is no mobile phone reception at the site. I am currently typing this from the laptop in a layby somewhere in North Yorkshire!!

There is a fish & chip van that turns up at the site on Thursday and Saturday at around 6.15pm, we'll try it out on Thursday and let you know what it's like when you get here.

Anyway, got to go know as the battery is about to die on the laptop, so everyone have a safe journey and we'll see you at the weekend.

We all have 2 days off straight after the York bash so we are thinking of heading on somewhere on Sunday for anbother night or possibly two. We will probably look at something heading back in the general direction of Manchester so we wont have too myuch driving to do on the hoeward stretch. Not sure yet. Any good ideas from anywone or does anyone have plans already.
