Hi Many thanks to Dreamwarrior for arranging this meet, lovely to see you and JO and Emma. Met some newbies Andy and Manda, Bev and Martin, lovely to meet you. Lots of old friends. Kids having a ball.
We had been to stay in the Dales and forgot to pack mobiles and satnav and had no idea where exactly this meet was. Thought we would just try to find it and then got overtaken by a familiar bongo. Boy was we glad to see you guys.

Image

Met up with Jetskiers lovely wife Bev who we don't see that often. She stayed in the bongo as she found it a bit cold.

Image

Whereas Alan(Blobber) thought the weather a bit hot really. He knows how to dress in Blackpool....

Image

A lot of other people must have found it hot too, because everyone was stripping off.

It was Blobbers 21st Wedding Anniversary. Their son Stephen had come with his girlfriend for the day out. To celebrate we went off to the pub. When we got there it was two meals for £7 so we could afford deserts and coffee, very nice. Happy Anniversary Alan and Dot, may you enjoy many more.

Tried to take the next photo and think my camera is broken. Sorry no pics of the evening. Thank you all for a lovely day.

Fantastic chaps, well done. =D>

Tried talking Mrs M into it yesterday morning but Blackpool isn't her cup of tea. (traumatised as a child by hairy men dressed as schoolgirls behaving inappropriately)

Glad to see a good time was had by all.

your all a great gang, hey and at least the slow convoy tested some coolant alarms to the max.
couldnt believe how the mini's got through in one but i guess its somat to do with the size of them. neil and me tried but the police were not having any of it.
i could post pictures but to be honest there no different to the rest taken so i couldnt top any of the ones taken.
well done everyone. 30 bongos next year?
martin n bev nice to see you and yes top it up with 50/50 mix for the coolant.
mark (cheif wiggam) we saw you go by us after the confusion of the tower incident and never got to catch up with you for convoy back.

Well done Mike for coming up with this one. We had a great day. :D Thanks to Dave and Bev and kids for the good company in Blackpool. We discovered the alarm goes off everytime in Starbucks when a non patron uses the 'facilities' - BEV. Hats off to Dave for his jammy wheeler dealing on the trams and getting the flashing specs =D>
It was a treat to see so many gleaming Bongos in one place. I'm sorry we never got chance to meet some of the new faces there but by the time we got back to the carpark it was a bit dark and everybody was blinging up with lights and nearly ready for the off.
The grumpy copper never said owt to us about our rather bright blue leds on the dashboard but we were next to the mini with the big flag so maybe he couldn't be bothered with us cos who were some ickle lights gonna hurt??
Poor Elliot fell asleep before we even got to the lights. :( We pulled out of the convoy before the tower as the engine was getting rather hot and we figured it was time to call it a day. We found a chippy (not difficult in Blackpool) and parked up. Elliot woke up and started crying cos he'd missed the lights :( :( so after the delicious chips we set off back throught the lights the way we had just come. The road was soooo quiet. Honestly.

My camera dosn't like taking pictures at night of bright lights so heres just a few I took

Hi, just a quick line to thank Mike for orginising another great meet. Good to see everyone again =D> =D> =D> =D>
As usual, all the pictures are great you guys and gals.
Yes, I thought it was quite warm there.
Nice to meet new faces as well and hope to see you again. Who orginised that nice smilling policeman to stop the traffic at the car park? He should have a word with the misserable b.........d further up the road, the minis with the flags were at the side of us when he came along to have words. Wouldnt like to meet him on a bad day!!
Hatris....Dot says thanks for the cards, you only have to look at the pics to know the musical one was about me.

Again, thanks everyone for a great day.
Alan & Dot

Yes sir, I can Bongo !!

I now walk with an angel by my side.

i didnt organise the copper honest, he had turned up into the carpark to see what was going on routine patrol. i did ask if he would help us all get out in one go, he kindly agreed to stop the traffic and sat in his car waiting for the off. good job it wasnt the other ones or we might have all been nicked for loitering with intent to have fun
