Hi,
In case anyone is intersted. Haven Mablethorpe 23rd for 4 nights £18 electric, grass, awning. Thought it worth mentioning, in case anyone else wants to add on to the weekend and make a week of it.

I know that most of you have to get back to work
The only good thing about being an oldie, is you can do what you want when you want. within reason! and mobility allowing !
Look forward to seeing you there, and hope the weathers reasonable.

Re: Haven Camp - Mablethorpe from Fri 20th March
I'm staying the Sunday night, but I'll have no leave left for the rest of the year if I carry on using it up so quickly

Mind you, I'm seriously considering opting out of the rat race this year, so Haven midweeks are looking good - especially now I've got my Freedom Trail pack

Good for you John. We should see you around on our midweek breaks then! You'll need a bigger chip pan though!
What's a freedom trail pack ?

Hi Annanot so old wrote:francophile1947 wrote: What's a freedom trail pack ?
If you book 3 Haven breaks during 2009 (I've booked Mablethorpe, Poole and Cleethorpes), they automatically send you the membership pack. You get vouchers for up to 10 "free" nights (you just pay £1 admin fee for each night and some must be used in their nominated month). Main problem is these vouchers can only be used on non-electric pitches at £1 per night, but you can also use them to get 55% off electric pitches
If I read it right, I will also get a pack for 2010

Hi John, Thanks for that. I just checked it on search and yes it's a great deal ,but renewed annually after 3 bookings. Like you non electric is no problem as I have gas heating in caravan and if allowed, generator.francophile1947 wrote:Hi Annanot so old wrote:francophile1947 wrote: What's a freedom trail pack ?

Non-electric pitches are not too much of a problem in the summer, when you don't need heating. You also get 10% off any future bookings (that's 10% of ANY booking, including those already discounted).

I have also booked 3 ,so I should get it too

That's what the brochure says as well, but the Welcome letter says that you get the benefits for the remainder of 2009, plus automatically receive a pack for 2010not so old wrote:,but renewed annually after 3 bookings. Anna
I assume that's to make sure you book 3 in 2010, to ensure you get another pack for 2010 and 2011
