woke up sat.morning thinking it was doomed, but good old DBO came to the rescue again, what a guy.
thought the fancy dress was superb, brill costumes, think everyone enjoyed themselves!
big thanks to everyone involved, its not just the person planning it,its the other people who stay in the background but offer there little bit towards the meet to make them complete, they all know who they are, thankyou.

I think the pictures tell the story really well, well done everyone give yourselves a pat on the back!

Allready planning next years,so watch this space!

I must admit being woken at 1.30 on a stormy Saturday morning by Harry and being told the awnings gone, my heart sank, nothing we could do at that time in the morning.
The early hours daylight Saturday i was looking at the damage caused by hurricane Harry ,and thought well that's it ,and i felt like packing up and going home. Then granitetim came up to me looking at the damage and said here's the tenner i owe towards the marquee fund. I just looked at him and burst out laughing.
After we took the marquee down i had a good look and said we can still use it we will just be short about a third. and the rest as they say is history, I think i can get the damaged poles replaced ,if not its still a good size marquee.
Everyone helped with comments and ideas and we did it together, so thanks to you all for a great (muddy) weekend.
