Bear in mind the base vehicle that you have is a brilliantly designed, well engineered machine that will outlast most of its counterparts by a long way BUT its already had a good ten years or more in unknown hands & has possibly been abused at some point in its life.
Expect problems, coz you'll get them anyway but take heart at the support available on here that can turn a migrane into an itch, an expensive garage bill into a cheap self fix but more importantly - a frown into a smile.
We stick together when we have a problem - thats what makes them bearable (even if costly 
). And when I think my last car cost twice as much, gave more problems anyway, well all I can say is all cars are a potential nightmare. But at least a Bongo is special, and can be got from cheap to real posh depending on your pocket.
