Has anyone contacted the campsite? I tried to phone this morning but just got answer machine. They seem to have a very relaxed attitude to business! The message says, if you're coming here before the end of August, just turn up!
Have left my number!

You up for the September Glencoe meet sir?
Maybe...Maybe...Maybe. You know I have not been to the Red Squirrel Campsite for donkey's years and then my climbing partner and I spent the night in the Alpine Barn. My partner said that he hated the place and vowed never to go there again as he did not get a wink of sleep with all the snoring going on. Surprisingly it did not bother me at all, I slept like a log. I wonder why
How is this site run nowadays campervan wise. Do you get numbered pitches or just grab a vacant one. What we don't want is to be spread all over the site if we book individually. We are going there to get to know each other and enjoy each others company, spending half the time looking for each other as we have had to do on some club meets is not conductive to this aim.

Hi Tony et al
I spoke to the owner eventually today. She has asked us to get in touch with her nearer the time and she will make sure and reserve a place for us all together. She remember someone being there before with those funny wee campers! Maybe we need to get booking!

Annie,
Go to Board Index and down to the Fancy Meeting Up section and then look for Glencoe, September 25/26. Sorry I can't do the link on my Iphone but I'm sure you'll find it. Someone may post the link soon.
Hope this helps,
Thomas
