We grease it at every service, or every 6000 miles.

You could use a good quality lithium based grease.

sorry, in addition to all of the other problems i have, my dash squeaks too, drivers side, near the door. drives me crazy.....

We had the same problem of the dash squeaking on the drivers side. Problem solved by sticking a foam pad on the side of the dashboard between it and the door!

Hello!

When my front prop went i was basically coming back from my wedding in Suffolk back to Bath.. It was sounding a bit dodgy on the way up...

But that wasn't gonna stop us!
Anyway it got so bad for me that it was like being in a massage chair & the dash was squeaking noticeably where it goes to the trim on the drivers A pillar.. It stopped for me when i got the prop done!

if you pop the dash end caps off when the doors are opened,it will reveal 2 bolts either side,give them a good nip up.
