HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL

Hope you had a great New Years Eve at Quantocks. Bob and i were thinking of you.

Sorry we could only stay for one day out of four :( . Went to the doctors when i got back, got a supply of painkillers and have been booked in to see an osteopath.

Hope everyone who could not make the meet is on the mend now.

Gutted not to be with you all at Orchard Park. I am there with you in spirit even tho' I am at home with my feet up. Like Lyn I am booked in to see an osteopath. Couldn't have coped with sleeping in bongo. Really looking forward to seeing the pics. Thinking of you all, Jo. Lyn, I will be in touch. Hope you are feeling a bit better than when we spoke on the phone.

Hi all, I have been trying to get onto photobucket for the last few days, they just will not accept my password. Is there another image hosting program that anyone can recommend?
I can then post pix of the bash.

Dave,
Many thanks for organising the New Years Eve meet, we all had a really good time, sorry we had to leave early today without saying good bye but had to get back and finish unpacking removal boxes.
We must apologise for any concern we may have caused due to our long lie-in this morning/afternoon, can't think what made us sleep so much  What a shock you must have had when a dishevelled Karen appeared at the door.
It was really good to meet and chat to everyone again and we look forwarding to seeing you at the next meet up.
Regards
Neil, Karen and Thomas.

Great time had, good people =D> , good food =D> , shame about the site , no hot water, and electricity that seemed to switch off quite often. Still worth coming to see new and old friends.

Really enjoyed the meet too. Loved the mysterious bongo washer. Was that my Christmas present? (ps my bongo is dirty again - you couldn't pop along sometime to ...... no? Oh damn I'll have to do it myself).

The site itself was OK. Not too big and had decent facilities (when working) but the attitude of the owner I found appalling for a site that boasts Five Star certification for 2010! I ended up washing my hair in the dishwashing sink - where I found some hot water!

Then on the morning we left, I burnt my hands when washing them in the laundry sink (to get the mud off). Hah!

Enjoyed all the company as I always do. Loved the walks with Bongobaz, Geoff & Paulette.

Roll on the next one.

I "will" upload some photos - honest - sometime quite soon! :^o

See you managed to get me on 2 out of the 3 photos. By the way: neither myself nor Paulette were smoking! Just posing in the cool smoking room at the back of the Carew Arms in Crowcombe.

I don't recon that's legal as a smoking shelter as it is more than 50% enclosed.

Shan't be complaining though, just happy to have fresh air inside the pub. :D
