Good catch up and a few drinks.
Had fun on the way back, clutch peddle decided to stick so no gears, got slowly in 3rd gear to Welshpool, and a friend who is a mechanic came and got me, just waiting the verdict.
Typical as he was going for a valet tomorrow and onto a dealer forecourt to sell on Wednesday.
Thanks to Ian and Marianne and to all the others that were there.

Hopefully it's a relatively standard clutch thing Trish and you should at least be able to advertise it as having a new clutch. Are you getting another bongo?

Was about to ask what had happened to you Trish, then saw your posting.

I would have pulled over but saw the guy there so realised that you had called the cavalry in.

Hope it doesn't turn out too pricey as you are selling it. Keep us informed

Great week-end and nice site. Thanks Ian & co.

Thanks Marion for enquiry, yes it was the cavalry, managed to get Bertie back to Oswestry.
It was the slave cylinder, all fixed now. He goes for a valet next Thursday, then to a forecourt to sell.
Ditto re Welsh bash.
Hope to see you at Stourport.
Trish

Hi Trish

Good to hear Bertie is well again, whatever a slave cylinder is?

Good luck on the sale.
