I have to following:

Socket set
Spanners
Little and large torque wrenches
Some taps and dies

In fact most the usual stuff.

I only have on street parking so one thing that I don't have but would love to borrow on occation is some space.

For instance, I'd like to flush my coolant and I need to do drop links/suspension bushes and I'm more than happy to do it myself but I'll have to take the van to a garage. If there's anyone in the East Devon/Somerset area with a space for me please get in contact. I'd be more than happy to recpreicate with an extra pair of hands if you ever need help.

I'm willing to help people out but less willing to hand out tool/special tools unless i'm happy that people have the knowledge/ability to use them. Had too many tols come back damaged through cackhandedness over the years...............

Forgot to mention, I also have a workshop manual.

Fair point there dandy, clearly it will only work properly if the person borrowing is willing to take responsibility and replace something if broken / lost. Also, I think I'd be happier to take my kit to someone's house so you at least you'd know where they lived.

I've got a 22mm deep socket (1/2 drive) suitable for removing the injectors. Cost £6.50 - williing to lend on the basis that if you bust it, you buy it!

If you are going to the BIG BONGO BASH there will be 3 or 4 demo/classes on very basic servicing of the Bongo and loads of peeps with advice.
If not I'm sure there must be a owner close by who will show you round your Bongo.

There's usually a servicing masterclass at the main Bongo Bash in Stourport in June. Other than that, there are lots of helpful fact sheets in the member area to cover the usual things.

Got a granny in the ghurkas if anybody wants to borrow her , On a serious note i've got the two manuals for the bongo if anybody wants to lend them + basic tool kit, Oh i forgot the wife but only for the day, Only i like my dinner on the table for 6 ish.

Hi Aitch was good to meet you at the Bash .Yes got the Tubing for the sides of Bongo from B & Q. Will post some pics when they have been fitted .

Don't know my way around a Bongo as yet but bought a manual & got all the gear as I used to service & repair my Merc & VW vans.. If anyone wants a loan of it and the tools down yer in Dorzet then get in touch. Also got what we call a sump pump for changing engine oil on boats where you can't get under the engine (similar to the aforementioned pela pump I guess)
