There is a factsheet in the members area on fitting remote central locking that should help too.

The black/blue is the permanent live connected to the original central locking switch, I think I picked it up by the elec window switch (would check it with a meter just incase I mistook the colour

Hi,

I am trying to fit the rclick brain unit and don't have a clue where to find the open and close wires, I'm finding the instructions they sent for the Bongo to be useless and i'm not doing a lot else than blowing fuses!

Can anyone tell me where the 'open' and 'close' wires are for the central locking unit please. My van is 1996 'N' and the instructions say it should be a light green and a grey wire.

I can't see these anywhere in the A pillar or foot well.

Also what do I connect the 2 wires to from the actuator? I think I connect the blue wire to a 12v positive but don't understand where I find a 12v negative for the green :(

Thank you!

If your a member of the club (rather than just the forum) then the fact sheet will possibly help http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/member ... ocking.pdf

Hi,

Yes I did read that several times. It just says connect the wiring to the existing central locking wiring but not any more specific than that, not being familiar with the electrics I don't know which to connect and the rclick manual doesn't seem to be much help.

You don't intercept any wiring other than to pick up the +12v and earth, you fit one new solenoid to operate the existing mechanical link on the drivers door, and that solenoid is driven by the new unit and that's all.
