Hi Bev, we have only book for 2 night in case our son needs. We have the option of staying the Sunday night if we are not needed. Will explain when we see you.

I am not going to stay at the site as it is too complicated to organize with football, rock concerts and friends staying afterwards! All in all I think we will just head for the meet on Sunday. What time is everyone planning to get there?

The Gook beach cafe at Portwrinkle has a large car park tolerates over nighters and serves breakfast from 0930. Portwrinkle is near Crafthole on the Cawsand/Kingsand peninsula,probably the most Cornish bit of Cornwall.
worth a think for a meet maybe

there are loos nearby a hotel that does good nosh and the cafe which seems clean cheapish and not just greasy spoon.

Hi all , we are at Charmouth club site for the weekend and will be at the meet on sunday , does anyone please have a post code for the carpark at Sidmouth I might get lost without the sat nag lol

it appears though from the information provided that the car park charges £1.00 a hour might need to be a very short meet

At this late hour i'm going to put the cat amongst the pigeons, I was told by the lady at the Donkey Sanctary that the council offices car park is free on Sundays, it is located in Manor Rioad, Sidmouth. Once you get to the Esplanade turn right and Manor Road is a couple of streets alone the coast in Western Town.

I'm not sure what to do but it's not far between the two car parks. So we could cruise btween the two.

Doesn't that mean that the carpark is in Manor Road, near Jacobs Ladder?

So if both Bev's carpark and the free council carpark are in Manor Road, odd's on you'll see each other, whichever you choose.

Great weather for the meet only sorry we couldnt stay longer. Still at least I got to have a good run out in the kit car as well. We saw several bongos on the way out of Sidmouth and hope they were all going to the meet.
