Just read your post Jilly and was a little confused,
the school holidays in Hampshire don't start until the 3rd April as far as I'm aware.
3rd April is Good Friday! And school holiday in your area doesn't really matter, it's the traffic getting to Fordingbridge on a Friday that a lot of schools break up ... and the kids at Sandy Balls because it's holiday time where they live ... anyway I've cancelled now.
I may find an alternative campsite nearby for the Saturday and pop in to say hello - if that's OK.

Looking at the Sandy balls brochure,
http://www.sandyballs.co.uk/TouringBrochure2015.html
am I correct in thinking we are staying in the Northfield area? (site map page 34)
Also are we on the Touring pitches as shown on page 25?
Are Sandy balls ok if we park bongo on gravel, and pitch awning on the grass?
or do we have to have it like the photo with awing on the gravel?

We are all in Four Acres, but later bookings are in Orchard. Bongo on the gravel, awning on the grass will be fine.

You beat me to it! Thankyou!! Will this also apply in `Orchard`? We do need to put up our awning (used for sleeping) on grass otherwise we can`t get the pegs in.
We are so looking forward to our first Bongo meeting. It has only taken us 3 years to get around to meeting up since becoming members! Finally we get the chance to meet up with you all and hopefully get some top tips from the experts.
Judging by these messages you all seem to have great sense of humour too.

FANTASTIC!

Looks like we will have to drop out of this so another space available

Edna is having an internal argument with her gall bladder unfortunately, and isn't going to be in a fit state after a couple of nights in hospital for the weekend
