Right Time to throw a spanner in the works (or not as the case may be).

Sunday looks infintely the better day for prospect of a good airshow (not that Saturday will be a write-off, just more of a risk of routines etc. being cancelled or curtailed). The reason is (though I'm not an expert on AirMet) that Sunday - if forecasts can be believed and according to metcheck.com and choose Hobbies tab then select Southport aerodrome - will have much more broken lower and upper cloud on Sunday (cloudbase at 1000m which is also a bit higher than Saturday) esp. at around 13:00 when major displays will be preparing to go.

I'm only going to go if the sky looks likely to allow good flying displays and on current showing, that will be Sunday. Sorry to miss peeps tomorrow but being an aircraft nut etc.....

Have a great day whatever 8)

Smashing!

I'm sure between the seven of us we'll work it out.

(The flying machines will be easy to find, just remember to look up)

Any more takers?

That depends on how big the "stars" are surely dabs? I'd be amazed if you could see any real stars with all the clouds that have been around of late...
