Hi Sparky,
Yes we have met.

Sorry about that. I realised after posting the message, that we met in Poole Haven. It would have been lovely to meet up again. I did try again and she did say that a pitch number 119 , which is two away from our group had just become vacant, but you would have to book or pay for 2 nights at £20. If you are interested give them a ring.

Quote "Bongo club" Hopefully we will meet again soon, if not this weekend
Cheers Anna

That site looks really good. We like it down that way, so I will keep a note of it. We have spent very many great holidays/weekends in New Forest and Bournemouth area

Nice place for a meet too

Let me know what it's like. Have a really good time and hopefully we will see you again soon
Cheers Anna

I'm here at Hurley. You will all need to book in at reception to abtain your security number for the barrier.
I have just returned from a stroll along the riverside footpath. The weather is gorgeous .

Off now to cook dinner and relax with a nightcap -or two

I Have Wifi for a short time only . See you all tomorrow .

Hi,
I've been in touch with Anna who has a message to pass on. There has been a cancellation from another party today (not the bongos) on the rally field and there are now 9 available pitches for anybody that might wish to turn up on spec. If you wish to phone the site on 01628 824493 and let them know you are with the bongo party first.
Also for late arrivals, you will need a code for the gate, if you wish to pm me (Hotpot), I'll pass this on.
Cheers,
Anne

Excellent weekend especially thanks to Anna and Jimmy. We planned to leave slimmer but no chance with their BBQ on Saturday - what a spread

. Good pictures John, no need for me to try and put mine up

It was a smashing weekend, especially the flypasts from the red kites.
Many thanks to everyone who helped make a potentially difficult weekend a very special one,
including Brian and Mary who really helped us when we got there cross and tired, and John who brought a bright light so we could actually set up the awning. Extra thanks to Anna and Jimmy for all their efforts and hospitality, and the loan of various items so we didn't freeze without the bongo!
It was a great weekend, great campsite, great weather and great company.

Can only agree with everyone elses comments - excellent weekend in all respects!
Thanks to A&J for the feast provided and the friendly welcome from everyone.
Just hope the kids calm down soon so I can spend some time sat down rather than chasing after them!
