Bongo Fury

Well done to LoopyLoo for getting this together, a really pretty site in a lovely part of Wales. Weather was intermittently spasmodic but that didn’t stop the fun – the kids had a great time in the river. Definitely one to go back to later in the year when there may be a better prospect of some sun.

We arrived at Nantcol and it was sunny and THEN





But hey a little rain or hail never stopped anyone’s fun and the next day we had a lovely walk to see the waterfall

But worth it







Back to the bongos and time for some chair fixing



And off to the river to play





And they wondered why I took the kids to the cliff edge

Then bbq time

MINT SAUCE they had a lucky escape

And a little birthday singing, penblwydd hapus Mia


Then to light the fire with Bongobaz’s decoration he collected earlier




And toast some marshmallows

Thank you Loopyloo for arranging this we had a fab weekend, rain didn’t stop play





On the way home we nipped to the chapel to see the devil in the cloak





And had an hour or two in Betws y Coed as it wasn’t raining





And got soaked by the waterfall

i have just been looking at your pics from the weekend and looks like you all had a fab time.

Mr Barrington didnt tell me you were all meeting up tut tut tut so i have now decided not to rely on Mr Chromo any more and have taken it upon myself to join you guys on fury
