Eyup Mike--looks a bit wild there :) sorry can't get (bit of a wimp you see) anyway took about 2/3 hours tarting it up yesterday for the big unveiling at Rutland today -- so i dont really want to get it dirty :lol: :lol: :lol:

I used A1/606.. the A606 was tricky but was getting better... and Ray I cleaned mine yesterday too.... :shock:

Just got home...... big thanks to all the brave souls who made it today......

Wormey from Essex,who had stayed overnight, Bullwell Bongoliers, Nevets from Nottingham, The Pickles from Leicestershire, Ginge from Essex, the formidable Team Muz, Mr & Mrs Pips and Tomsk...... Good to see you all and at least it stopped snowing and brightened up later on...... not a cloud in the sky now.... :roll: :roll:

glad you had a good day,and that you made it home safely.i`m sorry that we missed this one,but with three kids all either with nasty colds,or just getting over it,we thought we`d give it a miss.still hoping to get to bakewell though.

Glad you enjoyed yourselves :lol: A couple of days ago they were still forecasting snow for my first camping trip of the year to Littleport next weekend :( Fortunately, they've changed their minds now - just wet and cold #-o :lol: :lol:

Well done to Mike for organising this one, shame the weather hampered some people’s plans. We took nearly three hours to get there, the A1 was ‘interesting’, just a couple of sideways moments to report :roll:

Thanks Mike for organising a good day, totally enjoyed the company and chat. :D

I hope to catch up with you all soon. :D

Below are some photos.

We arrived about 930pm on Saturday evening under a blanket of bright stars against a black sky. We could see Rutland water and properties lit up close to the water.
We went to sleep in the roof and we woke up to the snow below, thought it was a bit cold. :shock:

looks like you all enjoyed it =D> =D> =D> i think my next years revolution will be not to be such a WIMP---glad you all enjoyed it & your all superstar's for even considering it in this weather-----anyway as a bonus Manda & Andy called in to see us on there way home so we all went into our snug & had a good chat & a drink (well i had a drink) about the meet which we were gutted to miss.
Well done Mike for getting there first & sending weather forecast via your Dingle thingy. :lol: :lol: :lol:
