hi mike,
glad you had a good day,and that you made it home safely.i`m sorry that we missed this one,but with three kids all either with nasty colds,or just getting over it,we thought we`d give it a miss.still hoping to get to bakewell though.

Glad you enjoyed yourselves
A couple of days ago they were still forecasting snow for my first camping trip of the year to Littleport next weekend
Fortunately, they've changed their minds now - just wet and cold
See you at Bakewell

See you at Bakewell

Well done to Mike for organising this one, shame the weather hampered some people’s plans. We took nearly three hours to get there, the A1 was ‘interesting’, just a couple of sideways moments to report

Thanks Mike for organising a good day, totally enjoyed the company and chat.
I hope to catch up with you all soon.
Below are some photos.
We arrived about 930pm on Saturday evening under a blanket of bright stars against a black sky. We could see Rutland water and properties lit up close to the water.
We went to sleep in the roof and we woke up to the snow below, thought it was a bit cold.

Well done Mike for getting there first & sending weather forecast via your Dingle thingy.
