Indeed. Good point Alan. :)

Liz is under the knife tonight, draining fluid off the lung. Being done under a local anaesthetic so shouldn't be too traumatic & hopefully home tomorrow evening. [-o<

I felt a little jealous actually as I was leaving after visiting this evening as one of the nurses said they were taking her to the Theatre.

Its nice to know you can still get a posh saturday night out on the NHS.

Chris, a broken rib can be very painfull, so in order to speed Liz's recovery, may I suggest you take yourself and monkey away for a while. That way, you won't be tempted to crack a few puns thereby making her laugh, result, more pain. May I suggest your favourite sunkissed Thai island, you know it makes sence.

Really hope Liz is ok.

Glad to hear your Bongo is back on the road at last, but poor Liz. Give her my love and tell her to get well soon.

Keep us posted.

Final update on the Trouble & Strife front.

Liz is now back home, although somewhat sore, the carrier bag full of prescription stuff she came home with is helping to make her as comfortable as possible. Prognosis is good & normality should be resumed in the next week or three. Many thanks to you all for the words of support, you're a proper good bunch. :D =D> :D =D>

Bongowise, not really had a chance to do much with it apart from the 3 times a day shuttle runs to the local hospital & back, it seems fine although the fans seem to be kicking in far too early. Will monitor it over the next few days . . . .
