Glencoe meet. September 25 / 26

If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

Not sure what that means but as I'm up at 5 in the morning tomorrow, working a 12 hour driving day then heading up another 5 or 6 hours to you guys, it would be nice to have an easy base to slip into late at night, don't mind spending a bit of time in a pub though :D .

If anyone could PM me a mobile number, for contact as a back up just in case, as things rarely go to plan, that would be fab.

Sorry I will miss you guys - family stuff, it looks like the weather is improving!

Chris, the Clachaig is on the little road just off the A82, just before the campsite.

Have a great time guys! :D

We should be there by mid to late saturday afternoon. Now just need to decide if we are going to cook for ourselves or eat at the Clachaig.

I will be arriving mid afternoon, and have a 'dried' meal as a back up.... but intend to get something to eat in the pub. Bit of a chill in the air this morning, but a good forecast for the next couple of days.... I look forward to seeing you tomo....

I plan to do my own cooking if the weather is kind to us (the forecast looks okay) as I thought the pub was quite expensive for food when I visited on a previous occasion. Going to get more gas this morning for my little camping stove.

See you guys later,
Thomas

If the midges are still around we should get plenty of fun and exercise trying to dodge them. pity that they don't show up in the photos.

Leaving for Glencoe about 1 or 2 pm this afternoon.

The Bongo for sale @ Chisholm's Car Sales in Ballachulish was once marked £8995, but now says "Offers." Did not meet the salesman to give my opinion on the price.

Awesome pics but come on guys come clean, with weather like like where did you REALLY go.
I guess it was some clever use of photoshop rather than a real trip to Glencoe

Hope to hook up with you maybe next time =P~
Why?...........Because somebody might wave back.

Seriously? The weather was awesome but when the sun went down it was like stepping into a freezer. A truly fun weekend and good to meet up for the first time with fellow Bongonauts. Am I the only one who did not have a sore head?

Sorry I missed Chrissy, I believe I just missed by minutes, so I guess it was it you I saw on the single track road, between the site and Glencoe village. Thanks for the wave. :D
