Glad to see you guys all had a good time. A question - were the red arrows on during Sunday as well only as I was sat at the puter on Sunday about 8.30pm, I noticed two sets of jets in V formations flying low (Chesterfield) and was wondering if they were heading back to base?

Quite likely them. They did Southport ant 13:00h then flew off to display in Northern Ireland. Quite likely they landed, did the display (17.00h?), landed, refuelled and took a bit of R&R before heading back home to Cranwell, which at a guess would have taken them over Chesterfield as being en route and clear of busy airspace. Quite late thoughVeg_Ian wrote:Glad to see you guys all had a good time. Sounds perfectly plausible Mike, thanks, and I think it was them after looking at the pics from Muz and co. I remember it was still light but only just. Probably flying low to keep under commercial air traffic or just showing off eh (something they do so well).Quite likely them. They did Southport ant 13:00h then flew off to display in Northern Ireland. Quite late though
