Thanks for all the deposits so far chaps.

I've just a few more to come in so once I've got them I'll confirm things with the site. If anybody didn't get my PM with address on let me know.
We had a night up there on saturday. Lovely. The lads had a great time exploring all the woodland. The weather was gorgeous on sunday and they wern't in any rush for us to vacate our pitch so we had a leisurely lunch and left around 3pm.
One thing you need to know though is that the pitches are all hardstanding (gravel onto hardcore) so you will def need rock pegs for your awnings.

Cheers for now
Di

Is there grass alongside the pitches to enable an awning to be pitched there, or do you have to set both your Bongo and awning up on the hardstanding?

Same place as where you have a Yabba Dabba Do Time.

 Only kidding

Millets may have some or camping accessorie shop. They look alot more robust with grooves. That may help you identify them. Or simple ask the assisant for rock or storm pegs.

I am on site at Hill of Oaks now, weathers changeable but not to bad,i have just put my awning up so yes you do need heavy duty pegs they sell them on site if you get stuck for some, here for a week and a half, putting dinghy on the lake tomorrow weather permitting, site busy already, no Bongos here except mine.
