Thought I'd better update this.

Here's our homemade set up in use. It incorporates a Meths, Origo-like stove, Weaco CF-25 fridge which pulls out (not ideal, but works okay), a storage / fold out section which mates with the rear flip up seats to make a bed. Plenty of storage. It also has a rail inside for the table, plus one for having the table outside as shown. I'm still finishing it off and hav ebeen for a while now! It was intended as a pre-conversion stop gap.

''Origo-like stove'' quote

It is an Origo ! They sometimes sell them under other brand names such as Electrolux but they are made by Origo.
How do you find cooking with it?

It's pretty good. It's the one available for £124 from the marine store (I forget the details), but is as you say, an exact Origo replica, but at half the price.

I had initial reservations when it was new - I had trouble lighting it and the meths runnning out quickly. I think it takes a little while for the meths to soak in or something - we went away for two weeks (one week heavy use of the stove) and I didn't have to refill the canisters.

I love the fact that it doesn't require a gas cabinet and can be removed quickly to use in an awning.

You are right then. It is one of the ones made by the designer of the stove who set up his own company .They are just as good as the Origo. I just wondered what other folk think of them as I prefer them to gas :) We have a removable cabinet too !

Finally I get to join in this thread :)

Here is my little removable kitchen unit and storage seat I won on eBay. Perhaps someone on here might recognise it? :)

Looks good, any chance of a pic from the other end through an open tailgate?

BTW, someone has stolen your rear seats

How does the power get in, do you just have a cable out of the tailgate to the kitchen unit or a permanent external socket?

Looks groovy though, and you can revert to an 8-seater when you need. 8)

Power is via rcd out of tailgate, don't have external socket (but would like one!)

piccy from back this is just after I fitted it last week

Yep easily revert back to 8 seater, it took me 10mins to remove both rear seats and fit both units :)

I won it at a bargain price, and it'll certainly do us whilst we save up/decide what/if we want a conversion etc :)

looks fab 8) can't wait to see it, 10 minutes doesn't sound like too much hassle, I thought if I got something like that it'd take hours to put in and out..tho do your rails go to the back? my back seats flip up
