and they were driving far too fast for that road.
Never been up that road just down it...maybe next year.

Done it both ways in a Sabb years ago. Must try it in my Bongo some day if June will let me. She hates mountain roads and even freaked out when I took her to Cnip on Lewis.

Sorry for being thick Brora, but how could you have come down it without going up it???? Both ways are quite challenging.
So how about a rally there next year?

Came into Applecross from the North. ( low road as can be seen on the sign at beginning of clip)

Annie the coast road from Shieldaig in the north was only built in the mid 1970's. Before that Applecross was snowed in almost every winter as the only way in then was over the Bealich Na Ba. When that happend supplies had to be taken in by mail boat from Kyle of Lochalish.
